OBSERVATION

YESTERDAY, I WENT TO TE SCHOOL WHERE I AM GOING TO TEACH THIS SEMESTER.THE CLASS WAS REALLY INTERESTING. AT THE BEGINNING STUDENTS WERE SURPRISED WHEN THE TEACHER SAID THAT I WAS GOING TO BE THEIR TEACHER. THEY THINK THAT I AM VERY YOUNG TO BE A TEACHER. I COULD SEE THAT THE TEACHER MAKES STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE, AND THE STUDENTS LIKE TO PARTICIPATE. FIRST THE TEACHER MADE ME  INTRODUCE MYSELF, AND THEN THE STUDENTS INTRODUCE THEMSELVES. AFTER THAT THE TEACHER STARTED THE CLASS, HE WROTE SOME QUESTIONS LIKE: WHERE DO YOU LIVE? WHAT S YOUR MOTHER'S NAME? WHAT DOES YOUR SISTER LIKE TO DO?
STUDENTS WORKED IN PAIRS TO ANSWERED THE QUESTIONS. THEN THE TEACHER MADE ME PRONOUNCE THE SENTENCES, AND THEN THEY REPEAT AFTER ME. FINALLY, EACH OF THEM READ THE QUESTIONS WITH THEIR OWN INFORMATION IN FRONT OF THE CLASS. I COULD SEE THAT THEY ARE NOT AFRAID  OF BEING IN FRONT OF THE CLASS. I THINK THIS PRACTICES WILL HELP ME TO KNOW  HOW TO WORK WITH TEENAGERS.

WHY SHOULD I USE WARM-UPS, ICE- BREAKERS, AND TIME FILLERS?

I have learned some important things during these 3 weeks. For example, Ihave learned how to create a positive atmosphere in the classroom, and how to bring energy to the students using warm-ups and ice-breakers. Moreover, I could undersand that i can use time fillers when I realize that the students are bored because I have designed a boring class. Also, time fillers to fill a small blog when the lesson plan runs short.

IS IT IMPORTANT TO PLAN OUR LESSONS?
We as teachers know that there are many reasons for planning a lesson. For example,
     lesson planning
-helps the teacher to be more confident
-provides a useful guidefor efficient teaching
-helps the teacher to prepare for the lesson
-heps the teacher to be more organized
-helps the teacher to know whether he/she has achieved his/her teaching objectives
-helps the teacher to identify parts or activities can work well according to the topic and the level of the students

In my opinion, the most important part of the lesson is the objectives because they helpus to be explicit about what we want students to achieve in the lesson. However, objectives are not easy to write because we have to take into account the students needs, the topic, the activities we want to do, and the language and skills the activity is practising.

In conclusion, I can say that didatics classes have helped me a lot  in order to understand why I should plan the lessons, and how it will help me in these coming teaching practices.
