CLARIFYING DOUBTS


When we teach, we need to be aware of many things that can happen. For example, when I went to teach the frequency adverbs, I faced I problem. My students did not want to participate because they did not understand how to use the frequency adverbs. Thanks God I brought my book, so I started to write some examples from the book on the board. But I still had a problem because they did not want to talk about the things they usually do or the things they never do. At the end of the class, they clarified some doubts, but they still had some troubles to use the frequency adverbs. I told them that I was going to bring some extra practices next class.

IS IT ENOUGH TIME?
Last week, my students told me that they needed to practice more because they wanted to get a good grade in te next test; therefore, I looked for some practices and brought them to the class. My students were happy because many of them clarified some doubts through these practices. However, I faced a little problem. Since the teacher told me that I should not use photocopies, I had to write the practices on the board. I wanted to cover five practices, but I did not have enough time. I covered three practices. I talked with the teacher and told him that I covered just three practices because I spent too much time writing them on the board; however, the teacher told me that it was ok and that he was going to develop the rest of the practices....
