A BORING CLASS?

My fourth class was a little bit sad because my students were sad. I planned some activities and exercises to improve their knowledge about prepositions. The problem was that they did not want to write.I realize that my lesson plan was not working, so I decided to use a warm-up to bring energy. Once they started the warm-up, everything changed. After that I continued with my class, some students were still bored.They told me that they were bored because it was raining. At the end of the class I felt sad because the teacher told me that I should not use charts. He says that a goog teacher does not use charts, he says that a good teacher uses the white board and markets to teach. I have been reflecting about this problem I am facing ta school, and I am trying to find a solution.
